JOB SUMMARY

IXYS, a leader in power semiconductor and power management/display integrated circuit manufacture is looking to augment its Research and Development team in its European Headquarters located in Biel, Switzerland.

The successful candidate will be a talent within the power semiconductor design environment.

THE ROLE INCLUDES:

• New methods of SJ devices manufacturing.
• New termination area developing for high voltage devices.
• Manufacturing process and test measurements supervision.
• Project management of R&D projects across all IXYS Global Factories.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Power MOSFET design.
• Power IGBT design. 
• Characterize, debug and prepare new, innovative power devices for market introduction.
• Advanced layout and process development. 
• Device failure analysis.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have a technical PhD and will have attained a record of successful designs in IGBT or Power MOSFET technologies.
