• IXYS Semiconductor GmbH is looking for a creative, dynamic marketing professional to help us in our product management including product family strategies. Other responsibilities are field sales training, presentations, pricing and advertisement.
• The right candidate will have a BS or higher engineering or sience degree and will be familar with the applications with advanced power semiconductors and ICs in the area of power conversion, motor drives and power management. Prior direct experience in this areas is a plus.
• The job reports directly to our senior Marketing Manager.

Good presentation skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required. The ability to travel up to 25 % is necessary.

We are looking to contact a dynamic, creative and highly motivated Sales Manager, to ensure the continuation of company fast and successful growth in a very competitive market. We expect you to be result and goal oriented and to work under your own initiative as a Key Account Sales Manager for Industrial and Automotive key account

• Help to define and implement the ongoing company strategy in industrial and automotive power conversion.
• Look for new channels and niche markets for our power semiconductors to secure our growth goal.
• Coordinate, serve and support global key accounts.
• Be responsible for a considerable Sales budget and you will be supported by a marketing and customer service team.
• Will report directly to the VP Sales & Mkt. of European Operations.

Experience Needed:

• Good presentation skills and be fluent in English and German language
• Experience in selling semiconductors and a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and a working knowledge of MS-Office programs.
• Excellent communication skills and team orientation.
• Willingness to travel in Europe up to 35 % of your time.
• Good understanding of power conversition and power management applications.
• At least 3 years of successful practical experience in the electronic or automotive industry.

• Design and develop new assembly and mounting techniques for power modules.
• Continous assembly improvement in regards to Quality, yield and cycle time.
• implement and take care for the initial pre-production in our assembly line in Lampertheim.

Experience Needed :

• a degree in Physics or material sience.
• experience in a similar production and / or development enviroment.
• interest in managing a small team of co-workers.
